This coin commemorates the Severan victories near Hadrian's wall in southern Caledonia. The description here is per RIC but the figures are more likely to be Britannia on the left and on the right are any number of river gods from the area: the rivers Eden, Tyne, Forth, Solway, and Tay have all been suggested.
