CONSTANS II, with Constantine IV, Heraclius and Tiberius, (A.D. 641-668), gold solidus (4.36 g), Constantinople mint, 6th officina (S) struck 662-667, obv. crowned busts of Constans, wearing long beard and plumed helmet, and Constantine facing, both wearing chlamys, cross above, around traces of D N C VS, rev. Heraclius and Tiberius beside cross potent set on three steps, around VICTORIA A VGUS in exergue CONOB, (S.964, DOC 30f, MIB 31). A few light scratches, traces of mint bloom, nearly extremely fine and rare.
