(x) Anglo-Saxon England, Primary Phase (c. 680-710), Series BIIIA3, Sceat, Type 27a, double diademed bust right, rev. linear bird atop cross, flanked by annulets, trefoil piles at base, 0.94g, 9h (BMC Type 27a; Abramson 72; North 126; Spink 777A), some rub to high points, otherwise richly toned, of good fabric, a really good very fine, rare in this condition.
