Medieval Silver Coins (11), including Groats (8): Edward III, Pre-Treaty, Series E, 1354-1355, London, broken letters (Spink 1567); Henry VI, Annulet-Issue, 1422-1427, Calais (5), one with a refurbished Henry V 'scowling bust' die (North 1424, 1427; Spink 1836); also, Edward IV, First Reign, York, quatrefoils by bust, E on breast (Spink 2012); lastly, Henry VII, Class IIIc (Spink 2199), some clipped small and with splits, others pierced and one subsequently plugged, generally fair to fine; additionally, Half-Groats (3), Pre-Treaty, 1356-1361, Series G, London, annulet below bust (Spink 1579), slightly crimped, toned, fine; another, Type III, Canterbury, Archbishop Morton and King jointly, m.m. tun (Spink 2209); lastly, Penny, York, Archbishop Thoresby [?], these last two creased and poor, otherwise a most interesting academic grouping (11).
