CARIA, Mylasa. Circa 300 BC. AR Drachm (17mm, 4.25 g, 11h). In the name and types of Alexander III. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; monogram in left field, KH below throne. Thompson, Alexandrine, Group 1, 5; Price 2480. Toned, a little die wear on reverse. Good VF.

See F. Delrieux, "Le role militaire des monnaies au monogramme ΩX dans la Carie de Pleistarchos" in RN 155 [2000], who suggests that this issue was possibly struck under Pleistarchos, brother of Kassander, who may have ruled in Caria circa 300 BC.
