KINGS of PARTHIA. Orodes II. Circa 57-38 BC. AR Drachm (20mm, 3.98 g, 12h). Nisa mint. Struck circa 50-42 BC. Diademed and draped bust left; crescent to right / Archer (Arsakes I) seated right on throne, holding bow; ИI below bow. Cf. Sellwood Type 45 and 46 (mint unlisted); Sunrise –; Shore –; cf. PDC 22748; cf. CNG E-281, lot 161. Slight doubling on obverse, struck on irregular flan. Good VF. Extremely rare.
