Claudius. AD 41-54. Æ Sestertius (35mm, 24.48 g, 6h). Contemporary imitation. Uncertain Balkan mint. Laureate head right / Spes advancing left, holding flower and raising hem of skirt. For prototype: Cf. RIC I 99; cf. von Kaenel Type 55. Green patina, some smoothing and light pitting, area of fill on reverse. VF.
