Commodus. AD 177-192. AR Denarius (18mm, 3.51 g, 12h). Rome mint. Struck under Marcus Aurelius and Commodus, AD 179. Laureate head right / Fortuna seated left, holding rudder and cornucopia; wheel below seat. RIC III 662 (Aurelius) var. (bust type); MIR 18, 449-14/30; RSC 771. Toned, some find patina, reverse struck off center. VF. Excellent youthful portrait.
