Gordian III. AD 238-244. AR Denarius (20mm, 2.54 g, 6h). Rome mint, 1st officina. 7th emission, mid AD 240. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Diana Lucifera standing right, holding flaming torch with both hands. RIC IV 127; RSC 69. Some luster, a few shallow scratches. Good VF.
