France, First Empire. Napoléon I Æ Medal. Commemorating the Victories of 1807. Dies by Andrieu and Jaley; Denon, mintmaster. Dated 1807, though a later re-strike. NAPOLEON EMP. ET. ROI., laureate head to right / Eagle with wings spread standing to left on thunderbolt, head to right, being crowned by Victory flying to left above; radiant N in exergue, flanked to left by DENON D.T. in two lines and to right by JALEY F.T. above mintmark and date in two lines. Bramsen 674. 35.37g, 41mm, 12h.

Near Mint State; an attractive re-strike with original oxblood case of issue.
