Sasanian Kings, Shapur II AV Dinar. Sind(?) mint, AD 309-379. Bust to right, wearing mural crown surmounted by a korymbos, flower in right field / Fire-altar flanked by two ribbons. MK -; cf. 1302 for similar control mark (Mint VIII); Sunrise -; Göbl -; cf. CNG 115, lot 197, CNG 100. lot 171. Apparently unpublished in the standard references with this control mark. 7.26g, 21mm, 3h.
Very Fine; flan slightly waved. Extremely Rare and interesting with the flower countermark in the right field.
