SASANIAN KINGS, Yazdgard II. AD. 438-457. Silver Drachm (3.58 gm; 28 mm). Standard issue, no mint or date, phrase "NWKY" (goodness or rightousness) on the reverse on the right, countermark in the shape of English letter "S" on the first quarter of obverse. Hint of original green deposit on obverse field. Choice AU and lustrous. Scarce.
