ROMAN EMPIRE. Hadrian. AD. 117-138. AR Denarius (3.50 gm; 17 mm). Rome mint. Struck circa AD 134-138. Laureate head right / NILVS, Nilus reclining right, holding reeds and cornucopiae; hippopotamus at feet, crocodile below. RIC II 310; RSC 989. Well struck on a nice full flan. Choice Good VF.
