The bust of Emperor Kuang Hsu (1875-1900) on a Chinese rupee of the early 1900s imitated the design of Queen Victoria's bust on a rupee of India, dated 1862. INDIA Queen Victoria 1 Rupee(11.64 gm; 30 mm), dated 1862 and 1 CHINA, Tibet 1 Rupee (11.36 gm; 30 mm). ND (1903). Minor scratches on the field, otherwise Choice Very Fine. Lightly toned.
