CUBA. Receipt of 50 pesos, convertible into bonds, issued on August 24, 1870 in Saratoga and signed by Miguel de Aldama, inscription "Redeemed on March 15, 1879". Very rare, piece of enormous historical load. Former José Martí Collection, auctioned in Aureo on November 17, 2004, lot No. 5919. On October 10, 1868, the Ten Years War (1868-1878) broke out, the first war for the Independence of Cuba, Aldama was involved in the conspiracies.
