Aes Premonetale. Aes Formatum. Almond-shaped AE cast item, central Italy, 6th-4th centuries BC. Unlisted in the standard references and apparently unpublished; Vecchi ICC- (cf."Bronze objects found with Aes Rude and early currency bars in Central Italy", p. 76 and pl. 90). AE. 3.65 g. 21.50 mm. RRR. Extremely rare and interesting. Nice earthen deep emerald green patina. VF.
