P. Clodius M.f. Turrinus. AR Denarius, 42 BC. Obv. Laureate head of Apollo right; behind, lyre. Rev. P. CLODIVS - M.F. Diana standing right, with bow and quiver over shoulder, holding lighted torch in each hand. Cr. 494/23; B. 15. AR. 3.91 g. 20.50 mm. An outstanding example, struck on a broad flan. Brilliant and superb, with underlying luster and lightly toned. Good EF/EF.
