Antoninus Pius (138-161). AE Sestertius, 150-151 AD. Obv. ANTONINVS AVG PIVS P P TR P XIIII. Laureate head right. Rev. COS - IIII. Aequitas standing facing, head left, holding scales and cornucopiae. RIC III 866. AE. 25.10 g. 33.50 mm. An outstanding example. Superb portrait, broad flan, lovely green brown patina. Slightly rough surfaces and a few minor marks, otherwise about EF.
