Diva Faustina I, wife of Antoninus Pius (died 141 AD). AR Denarius, struck under Antoninus Pius, c. 146-161 AD. Obv. DIVA FAVSTINA. Bust right, wearing pearls bound on top of her head. Rev. AED DIV FAVSTINAE. Temple in which is a seated figure of Faustina Senior. RIC III (A. Pius) 343. AR. 3.47 g. 18.00 mm. Delicate and expressive portrait. Well centred and nicely toned. Good VF/VF.
