LESBOS. Mytilene. Circa 377-326 BC. Hekte (Subaeratus, 11 mm, 2.26 g, 1 h), a contemporary plated imitation. Head of Apollo Karneios to right, wearing horn of Ammon over his ear. Rev. Eagle standing right, head turned back to left, within linear square within incuse square. Cf. Bodenstedt 104, SNG Copenhagen 316 and SNG von Aulock 1727 (for prototype).
