CARIA. Antioch ad Maeandrum. Circa 90/89-65/60 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 28 mm, 16.16 g, 4 h), Menander, magistrate. Laureate and draped bust of Apollo to right. Rev. ANTIOXEΩN - MENANΔPOΣ Zebu bull standing left on ground line with maeander pattern below; all within maeander pattern. Thonemann Group A, 4.a (O5/-). Of the highest rarity, the second known example. The obverse struck somewhat off center, otherwise, fine.
