KINGS OF ARMENIA MINOR. Mithradates, circa 180s-170s BC. Chalkous (Bronze, 9 mm, 0.37 g, 3 h). Draped bust of Mithradates to left, bearded and wearing upright bashlyk tied with a diadem. Rev. Eagle flying to right, holding uncertain animal (another bird?) in its talons. Kovacs -. Leu Web Auction 16 (2021), 1212. Of the highest rarity, apparently the second known example. The reverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, good very fine.
