SELEUKID KINGS OF SYRIA. Philip I Philadelphos, circa 95/4-76/5 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 28 mm, 15.95 g, 1 h), uncertain mint in Cilicia, likely Tarsos, circa 94/3-88/7. Diademed head of Philip I to right. Rev. [B]AΣIΛE[ΩΣ] / ΦΙΛΙΠΠOY - EΠIΦANOΥΣ / [ΦΙΛ]ΑΔΕΛΦOY Zeus seated left, holding Nike in his right hand and long scepter in his left; to outer left and below throne, monograms; in inner left field, monogram of AP; all within laurel wreath. SC 2460d. A bright example with a beautiful portrait. A few light marks on the obverse, otherwise, good extremely fine.
