SICILY. Syracuse. Deinomenid Tyranny, 485-466 BC. Litra (Silver, 9 mm, 0.58 g), circa 475-470. Diademed head of Arethusa to right, wearing single-pendant earring and necklace. Rev. Wheel of four spokes. Boehringer Series XI, 286–91 or Series XII, 362-70. HGC 2, 1371. Nicely toned. Somewhat porous, otherwise, very fine.
