INDIA, Kushan Empire. Huvishka, circa 151-190. Dinar (Gold, 19 mm, 8.00 g, 12 h). ÞAONANOÞAO OOηÞKI KOÞANO ('King of Kings, Huvishka the Kushan' in Bactrian) Crowned and draped bust of Huvishka emerging from clouds or a mountain top to left with flames on his right shoulder, holding club in his right hand and hilt of sword in his left. Rev. NANAÞAO Nimbate and diademed Nanashao standing front, head to right, holding wand with lion protome in her right hand and bowl together with sword with a hooked hilt in her left; to right, tamgha. ANS Kushan 718. Göbl, type 153. Struck from a somewhat worn dies, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
