AΛЄΞANΔPOY Diademed and cuirassed bust of Alexander 'the Great' to right, cuirass decorated with eagle standing facing, head to left. Rev. KOINON MAKЄΔONΩN B NЄ Alexander riding Bukephalos to right, holding spear in his right hand. AMNG III/1, -, cf. 652-3 (differing bust). RPC VII.2 online -. An extremely rare variety. Light adjustment marks on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
