KINGS OF BOSPORUS. Cotys I, with Nero, 45/6-68/9. 24 Units (Bronze, 17 mm, 11.53 g, 12 h), struck during the Roman intervention, circa 62-68. [Ν]ΕΡⲰΝOC KAICAP[OC] Laureate head of Nero to right. Rev. Κ-Δ (mark of value) Nike advancing left, holding wreath in her right hand and palm frond in her left. MacDonald 335 corr. (obverse legend). RPC I 1933 (2 specimens). Extremely rare. Somewhat smoothed and with minor roughness on the obverse, otherwise, about very fine.
