AYT K M ANT ΓOPΔIANOC CЄB / Π - Π Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Gordian III to right; all within laurel wreath. Rev. TAPCOY MHTPOΠOΛЄΩC - A / M / K / B - Γ Dionysos standing front, head to left, holding kantharos in his right hand and thyrsos in his left; at feet to left, panther seated left, looking back. RPC VII.2 -, cf. ID 6128 (no laurel wreath on obverse). An extremely rare variety. The obverse somewhat double struck, otherwise, about very fine.
