THRACE. Chersonesos. Circa 386-338 BC. Hemidrachm (Silver, 13 mm, 2.18 g), a contemporary imitation. Forepart of a lion to right, head turned back to left. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square with two raised and two sunken squares; in each sunken quarters, pellet. Cf. McClean 4055 and SNG Copenhagen 824 (for prototype). Nicely toned. Good very fine.
