Philip I, 244-249. Sestertius (Orichalcum, 31 mm, 20.77 g, 12 h), Rome. IMP M IVL PHILIPPVS AVG Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Philip I to right, seen from behind. Rev. PAX AETERNA Pax advancing left, holding olive branch in her right hand and scepter in her left. Cohen 110. RIC 185a. A very attractive example, sharply struck and with a beautiful portrait. Light doubling on the obverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
