MAXIMINVS NOB CAES Helmeted and cuirassed bust of Maximinus II to left, holding scepter over his right shoulder and ornamented shield on his left. Rev. VIRTVS AV-GG ET CAESS NN / AQΓ Maximinus II on horseback to right, spearing bare-headed enemy kneeling to left with raised arms; below horse, shield and another enemy prostrate on ground. RIC 68b. Rare. Smoothed and repatinated, otherwise, very fine.
