KINGS OF MACEDON. Philip II, 359-336 BC. 1/5 Tetradrachm (Silver, 14 mm, 2.60 g, 11 h), Amphipolis, struck under Antipater, Polyperchon, or Kassander, circa 323/2-316/5. Head of Apollo right, wearing taenia. Rev. ΦIΛIΠΠ[OΥ] Youth on horseback to right; below, trident head. Le Rider pl. 46, 20-1. SNG ANS 724-5. Beautifully toned and with a fine pedigree. Slightly rough and the obverse struck somewhat off center, otherwise, about extremely fine.
