Rev. VICTORIA AVGGG Γ / CONOB Angel standing facing, holding long linear cross with his right hand and globus cruciger in his left; in field to right, star. DOC 2c. MIB 3. SB 56. Graffito of ΗΛIA ('Elia' in Greek) on the reverse and with a minor scrape, otherwise, good extremely fine.


The Jewish name ΗΛIA ('Elia' in Greek) inscribed on the reverse of this coin very probably represents the signature of a contemporary owner of this solidus.
