Follis (Bronze, 26 mm, 7.60 g, 6 h), Constantinopolis, 879-886. +bASILIOS bASILЄVS✱ Basil, seated facing on throne, wearing crown surmounted by a cross and loros, holding labarum in his right hand and akakia in his left. Rev. + ЬASIL/IOS ЄҺ ӨЄO/ ЬASILЄVS / ROmЄOҺ in four lines. DOC 12. SB 1709. An attractive coin with a beautiful obverse. The reverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, good very fine.
