A well struck and unusually complete example belonging to an interesting group of seals quoting the Psalms. Minor corrosion, otherwise, very fine.


Our seal allows a correction to the reading of the reverse legend in both editions of this seal type. K is not the initial letter of Kyrios, as both editors assumed, but an abbreviation for kai ("and"). The seal's legend continues to quote Psalm 26:1 on its reverse.
