ISLAMIC, 'Abbasid Caliphate (?). Uncertain period. 1/8 Dinar (Gold, 13 mm, 0.35 g), apparently a donative issue, probably 11th-13th centuries. Legend in Kufic between star and pellet. Rev. Legend in Kufic between crescent and star. A highly unusual piece. Flan bent and straightened and with a flan crack, otherwise, good very fine.
