ISLAMIC, Islamic Weights. Circa 10-13th centuries. Weight of 20 Dirhams (Bronze, 20x20 mm, 58.87 g), a Seljuk or Beylik coin weight in the form of a polyhedron with truncated end; all faces covered with 'bird's eye' motive. On top, 'al-Abrar' ('the Righteous' in Kufic). A very attractive example. Some deposits, otherwise, very fine.
From a European collection, formed before 2005.
