KINGS OF MACEDON. Alexander III 'the Great', 336-323 BC. AE (Bronze, 19 mm, 5.46 g, 1 h), uncertain mint in western Asia Minor, circa 323-310. Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ Bow in bow-case and club left; below, filleted torch. Price 2799. A lovely example with a very attractive patina. Minor deposits, otherwise, about extremely fine.
