THESSALY. Larissa. Late 4th-early 3rd centuries BC. Trichalkon (Bronze, 20 mm, 6.60 g, 1 h). Head of the nymph Larissa facing slightly to left, wearing circlet with wheat ears. Rev. ΛΑΡΙΣ-ΑΙΩΝ Helmeted horseman galloping right, holding spear in his right hand; below, monogram. BCD Thessaly I 1171.1. BCD Thessaly II 393.3. Patina stripped and with minor roughness, otherwise, very fine.
