THESSALY. Trikka. Circa 440-400 BC. Hemidrachm (Silver, 15 mm, 2.64 g, 2 h). Hero, nude and with petasos and chlamys flying behind his back, running right and holding a band with both his hands passing around the head of a bull's forepart to right. Rev. ΤΡΙ-ΚΚΑΙ-ΩN. BCD Thessaly II 767 var. (differing ethnic). HGC 4, 311. Harshly cleaned and with light scratches, otherwise, very fine.
