Head of Demeter to right, wearing wreath of grain ears, triple pendant earring and pearl necklace; below chin, EY. Rev. META Barley ear with leaf to right; to lower left, ΛY; above leaf, star. HN Italy 1592. Johnston Class C, 8. Nicely toned and attractive. Slightly rough and with a minor flan fault on the obverse, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
