LUCANIA. Metapontion. Circa 300-250 BC. AE (Bronze, 14 mm, 3.10 g, 11 h). Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress. Rev. META Barley ear with leaf to right. HN Italy 1696. Johnston, Bronze, 60. SNG ANS 567. A lovely coin with a beautiful head of Herakles. Minor deposits, otherwise, good very fine.
