ARGOLIS. Argos. Circa 270-260/50 BC. Triobol (Silver, 15 mm, 2.64 g, 10 h). Forepart of wolf at bay to left; above, Θ. Rev. Large A; to left and right, Π-Υ; below, eagle standing right on harpa; all within rectangular incuse. BCD Peloponnesos 1111-2. BMC 79-80. A beautifully toned and attractive coin. Struck from a slightly worn obverse die, otherwise, about extremely fine.
