CIMMERIAN BOSPOROS. Pantikapaion. Circa 250-200 BC. AE (Bronze, 21 mm, 3.13 g). Diademed head of Poseidon to right. Rev. [ΠΑΝΤΙ] Prow to left; countermark: bearded head of satyr right within circular incuse. HGC 7, 117. MacDonald 125. SNG BM Black Sea 910-2. For countermark: MacDonald 127. Worn but with a very attractive countermark. Minor smoothing, otherwise, good fine.
