KINGS OF BOSPOROS. Sauromates I, AD 93/4-123/4. 48 Units (Bronze, 28 mm, 11.64 g, 1 h), circa 93-96. ΤΙ•ΙΟΥΛΙΟΥ ΒΑCIΛЄOC CAYPOMATOY Diademed and draped bust of Sauromates I to left. Rev. M - H Nike advancing left, holding wreath in her right hand and palm frond in her left; all within laurel wreath. MacDonald 397/2 (differing obverse legend). RPC III 824. Somewhat smoothed and with minor adjustment marks on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
