BRUTTIUM, Kroton. Circa 480-430 BC. AR Nomos (19mm, 8.04 g, 9h). Dumpy incuse type. Tripod, legs surmounted by wreaths and terminating in lion's feet / Incuse eagle flying right, leg in relief. HN Italy 2108; SNG ANS 294–7. Toned, a couple small flan flaws (remnants of undertype?) on obverse, some redeposited silver on reverse. VF.
