Charles IV 8 Reales 1807 PTS-PJ MS64 NGC, Potosi mint, KM73, Elizondo-50, Cal-1013. A choice selection and the sole finest submitted to either NGC and PCGS for the date and mint, and outside of 1774, tied for the finest produced by the Potosi mint in its entire production of 8 Reales. Seldom seen preserved so well from a mint plagued by production inconsistencies, the specimen at hand possesses admirable mint brilliance filling the uniformly battleship-gray fields, the recesses of the legends populated by a gentle blanket of frost, and the general appearances marred by nary a visual distraction. Truly a wonder of a survivor.
