Despite having the highest mintage of the short-lived 1200 Reis series at just 10,616 pieces, this emission rarely comes to market and is certified an unfathomable Gem Mint State, a designation bestowed upon just a single other representative of the entire silver Cruzado series, an 1837 400 Reis.
