Philip IV 8 Reales 1660 (Aqueduct)-BR MS63 NGC, Segovia mint, KM111, Cal-1625, Cay-6545. Variety with horizontal aqueduct. Superb quality for this seldom-seen, often low-grade issue, with sparkling luster in the textured fields and sharp definition of the raised devices. As is common for the type, several small flan fissures are seen, with one inside the center shield and another at 12 o'clock. Delicate hints of golden tone complete the appearance. Not surprisingly, the finest graded example at NGC, and a strong candidate for an advanced cabinet. Mislabeled on the holder as the vertical aqueduct variety.
