Charles III gold 2 Escudos 1776 S-CF AU50 NGC, Seville mint, KM417.2, Cal-1730. An incredibly popular date among Spanish colonial issues for American collectors. Though wear is observed, the finer points of designs are still distinguishable. Interestingly, die clashing from the reverse denticles appears to be seen above the date, perhaps suggesting misaligned dies resulting in an off-center clash.
